The National Museum of Anthropology should be your next stop. In this museum, you will get to millions of amazing items and relics. This was built in 1964 and it is a striking example of contemporary art. Old Indian art, like Central Patio, is located inside the building, roofed and sheltered. Other archaeological finds from Mexico are also on display here. The other big monument here would clearly be National Museum of Anthropology which was founded by Lucas Alaman in 1831. This place is called Chapultepec Park.
Templo Mayor is a relic from the Aztec times which was discovered as late as 1978. It is more than 3 meters in diameter and is around 8 tons in weight. More excavations have showed severed heads and winged warriors. There are multicolored reliefs and some original paintwork also remains in this place. Templo Mayor is something you cannot miss.
